Paige Lorraine Photography

Photos taken the right way. Stress free and however you god damn please.

I am a British Columbia-based wedding and elopement photographer. Specializing in adventure elopements in secluded areas of B.C and Alberta.

Why do I think I’m the elopement photographer you need?

Because I eloped! Yep, you read that right. Almost seven years ago now, long before adventure elopements were trending, my husband and I packed up our barely-road-legal jeep and led our closest friends on a 2 hour 4×4 to the summit of our favourite local mountain. We had a fire, we brought our girl Keelah (our doggo ), and I married one of my best friends, looking out over our favourite view and spent our wedding day in a way that was so perfectly us. I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat, wouldn’t change a damn thing.

I like to think that this experience makes me especially qualified to help cheer you on planning your elopement.

Love Notes

“Getting Paige to shoot your wedding – or anything, for that matter – is basically like winning the photographer lottery. Paige was thankfully available when my husband and I eloped in a small, intimate ceremony with friends on the Sunshine Coast — and for a couple that had never taken professional photos together (let alone an hour before getting married, in the middle of the forest) — we were so surprised at how much FUN it was! She truly warmed us up and shook out all our nerves before our big moment. And most importantly, the photos were absolutely stunning. Seriously. We still can’t stop looking them! She knows exactly how to capture the most intimate moments in gorgeous settings without you even realizing it, and investing in her is worth every single penny. Paige, we adore you and you turned us into a couple that’s genuinely excited to take more photos together in the future. Thank you for capturing such an important memory for us with so much care, quality & love!”

“Paige was absolutely incredible, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience with her. We eloped to a remote location, and Paige appeared completely comfortable in the wild landscape (my husband remarked that she was pretty much a professional mountain goat with all the crazy shots she was able to capture). She made us laugh and feel comfortable throughout the entire day, which resulted in sincere and natural-looking photographs. Not only that, but our photos turned out better than we ever could’ve imagined. Everyone who sees our photos are blown away by how beautiful they are — multiple people have commented that they’ve never seen more amazing wedding photos! We plan to use Paige again for future photography needs, and really can’t recommend her highly enough.”

Fun facts

What do you consider your style to be?

I consider my style to be very fluid. It changes with each couple and their personalities that I work with. It can be very energetic and wild or very calm and intimate depending on the mood of the day. One constant is that I am very influenced by the natural scenery and textures of the terrain we shoot in. I try to incorporate and represent as much of the natural beauty and tone of the day as possible in the images we create together. This is not my photoshoot. This is your wedding day and the images we create together should reflect that.

What are your favorite kinds of couples to work with?

I am an outgoing, fun, goofy, energetic person who loves to spend all my time in the outdoors and I love working with ALL couples! I proudly serve all communities of love, everyone is welcome here.

Do you travel for clients? If so, where?

Is this a searious question? HECK YES I travel for my couples! I take on a limited amount of travelling weddings per year. One of my favourites last year was photographing an elopement in Mt. Assiniboine. The views were out of this world! I love photographing in Whistler, Squamish, Sunshine Coast ( where I live ) Golden, Revelstoke, Banff, Canmore and Jasper. If you have another destination in mind I would love to explore with you!

What are your favorite activities to do in The Rockies?

HIKE! I actually have a few overnight trips bookmarked in my @Alltrails app for my family over the next couple of years! We are training my two kiddos to do a few more Km each year. We did a 16km hike last year in Glacier National Park last year on our way for me to photograph a wedding in Yoho National Park. I was one proud mama! ( Yes, if I'm travelling I bring them with me and make a mini-vacation on the drive up! Gotta make every second count!)
