Fun facts
How did you get started in the wedding industry?
I was inspired to start Mountain Arrow after planning my own mountain wedding! After teaching elementary school for 11 years, I decided to combine my organizational skills with my interest in design and styling to find my true passion in wedding planning.
Do you travel for clients? If so, where?
We do! We’re based in southwest Colorado and often travel to Telluride, Crested Butte, Silverton, Ouray, and Pagosa Springs. We love traveling to new places and we’ve even been a part of a couple of weddings in Wyoming at the Rockin’ 7 Ranch and The Red Earth Venue in Moab, Utah. Wherever your wedding is, we’d love to be a part of it!
Where do you find your design inspiration?
I love combining the beautiful outdoors and interior design elements with my couple’s personal style and vision. I also find inspiration traveling to new places, being in nature, paying attention to interior design trends, and reading.
What are your favorite activities to do in The Rockies?
If I’m not planning or styling something, you’ll most likely find me with my husband and our wild pups, Milo and Penny, out on the trails either mountain biking, hiking, paddle boarding, snowboarding, or cross-country skiing.
