Method and Muse is a craft distillery in the Denver area known for its award-winning botanical gins and amari (bittersweet liqueurs). We make custom wedding spirits designed to reflect your story as a couple: from the flavors of the botanical blend to the artistry of the label. Replace generic wedding party gifts with a custom spirit; serve craft cocktails with your spirit and specialty recipe at your reception, and savor it for anniversaries to come in lieu of frozen cake. Our tasting room-filled with live and unique plants-is available for rental for micro-weddings (up to 65 guests), intimate receptions, rehearsal dinners, engagement parties, welcome dinners, and more. Expert and friendly bartending service is included in your rental. We also host bachelor/bachelorette parties with mixology classes.

Where are you originally from?
Our founders have roots in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain Region. We've traveled across the globe and returned to Colorado to bring our love of global flavors to the world of craft spirits. We mix engineering and scientific expertise from Colorado School of Mines and CU Boulder with our creative passion for craft spirits, culinary arts, sculpture, and music.
What are your favorite kinds of couples to work with?

Where do you find your design inspiration?
Our spirits are inspired by the distillery founders' world travels (from Morocco to Japan) and the botanical flavors that come from all corners of the globe. As Thirst Colorado describes: “Method and Muse Spirits treats its gin like a global science experiment, crafting libations for their taproom and for exclusive private blends with local plants, Japanese herbs, Icelandic-type lichen and whatever else strikes their fancy." The founders all have backgrounds in the sciences and engineering, including three alumni from Colorado School of Mines. Our tasting room is filled with live plants that represent the botanical flavors in our spirits and our team's scientific curiosity and expertise.
What is your favorite part about a wedding?
Like perfume makers, we know memory is intrinsically tied to smell and taste at the deepest level. Our spirits and event space are inspired by the core of a relationship: shared adventures, friendship, joy, and belonging. We carefully pick each botanical element to reflect an experience, place, or cuisine style to help you recall memories of the good times in life, and make to new ones. In the case of custom spirits, we craft a new recipe to reflect your story as a couple to take you back to your fondest memories of one another. Our favorite part of a wedding is seeing a couple and their close circle make new memories with our spirits, knowing that the next time they enjoy a familiar sip, they’ll find themselves transported back to that feeling of love and community.
