I can’t thank McKenzie enough. She took my mothers wedding dress and created something beautiful with it. Her communication through the entire process was amazing, and appreciated. All the women in my family that I showed were in love with the outcome of this veil. I can’t wait until I get to actually wear it.

Fun facts

What do you consider your style to be?

My personal style is structured and classic with bold details. I gravitate toward clean lines, graphic patterns like polka dots and stripes, and I love mixing pattern in unexpected ways. I'm drawn to pieces that feel put together and intentional, but with something unique that sets them apart.

How did you get started in the wedding industry?

My journey into the wedding industry started when my cousin got married and I fell in love with her veil, so much that I decided to try making one myself, right in my dorm room. Sewing had always been part of my life; my grandmother and mom taught me to quilt when I was little, so pouring that skill into making veils felt natural. What began as a small dorm room project quickly grew into a full custom veil business. Early on, I also worked as a bridal consultant, which shaped how I think about he brides whole look. Along the way I also studied Fashion Industry Essentials through Parsons to further my education. Every veil I make now comes from that same place: a lifelong love of sewing, poured into a veil made for one of the most important day for my brides.

Where do you find your design inspiration?

My inspiration comes from everywhere. I'm always drawn to textures or patterns I notice in architecture and interior design. I also follow New York Bridal Fashion Week and love to go fabric hunting for new design inspiration. More than anything, my best ideas come from simply letting my mind wander rather than scrolling through mood boards or social media.

What is your favorite part about a wedding?

My favorite part of a wedding is the moment the bride walks down the aisle and locks eyes with her future spouse. Everyone in the room goes silent, all eyes on her, and there's this sacred, suspended feeling in the air. It's the moment her whole bridal look, veil included, finally gets to be seen and admired!
