What do you consider your style to be?
My signature style is soft, romantic, and effortlessly timeless. I specialize in creating elevated bridal looks for the bride who wants to feel like the absolute best version of herself: natural, confident, and completely radiant on her wedding day.
How did you get started in the wedding industry?
I’ve been obsessed with hair since I was a little girl braiding my family's hair and doing updos for friends! I attended Paul Mitchell in 2012, which gave me an amazing foundation in products and blowouts. However, because my true passion was always hair design, I pursued advanced training from top industry stylists to perfect my craft. I briefly worked in a salon, but quickly realized I only wanted to focus on brides. That led me to open my own studio, where I now specialize exclusively in bridal and event hair and makeup!
Where do you find your design inspiration?
I find inspiration everywhere, and my creative eyes are constantly open. I am endlessly inspired by other artists in our industry, but my truest inspiration comes from the world around me. It might be a woman walking down the street where I catch the perfect shade of her blush, the flutter of her lashes, or the effortless movement of her hair. I also love watching movies and studying the simplicity of the hair and makeup. It reminds me that often, the simplest looks are the most breathtakingly beautiful.
What is your favorite part about a wedding?
Without a doubt, it’s seeing the pure joy on my bride’s face when she sees her finished look. On the drive home from every wedding, I always sit in my car reflecting on the day and thinking about how incredibly lucky I am that this is my career. It's an amazing feeling that always leaves me thinking, 'That was incredible, let’s do it all over again next weekend!'
