What do you consider your style to be?

Modern mountain with a design-forward point of view. We love thoughtful layers, intentional color, and details that feel rooted in the landscape. The Lucky Penny style blends refined structure with an adventurous edge, elevated without ever feeling fussy or overdone.

What are your favorite kinds of couples to work with?

Couples who feel most themselves outside. Many of our clients ski, hike, camp, mountain bike, or simply crave the stillness that comes with wide-open space. They value good design, trust the process, and want a celebration that’s personal, thoughtful, and rooted in the mountains, not a copy-and-paste wedding.

Where do you find your design inspiration?

I’m constantly inspired by the outdoors. Textures on the ground, the way light shifts across a ridgeline, the color combinations you only see in alpine landscapes. Creativity usually sparks when I’m biking, skiing, exploring, or taking in new spaces. Those natural elements often become the backbone of our designs.

What is your favorite part about a wedding?

The moment right before the aisle. There’s this incredible mix of anticipation, calm, and emotion that never gets old. It’s the point when everything we’ve designed, planned, and built comes together, and we get to step back and watch the couple soak it all in.
