Kumo Productions is a multimedia studio focused on chronicling the “in-between” stories. We strive to capture moments as they occur, and help to facilitate and capture memories for our clients. Whether it is photography or videography or both, our work seeks to document what will become sacred memories for our clients, creating timeless art from the beautiful moments we witness.

“Our elopement at Garden of the Gods was a dream come true! Ryan was so great working with the two of us (we are as awkward as they come). We had proofs a few hours following the ceremony, which was important to me as far as eloping goes. We were dying to tell our friends and family! Fun facts
What do you consider your style to be?
My focus in both photography and videography is journalistic in nature, and I prefer to find or facilitate moments where my clients can express their most genuine self with one another. My images are a balance of light and dark, putting an emphasis on contrasts to accentuate the light and atmosphere of the moment we are capturing. I love finding the whimsical and “in-between” moments.
What are your favorite kinds of couples to work with?
We love the wedding industry for the wide breadth of people we have the opportunity to meet and work with. Everyone is so different, and picking favorites is hard! Generally we love to work with couples that love to have fun, are unafraid of being themselves, and are willing to go on a little adventure hike in their best outfit to get the best light.
How did you get started in the wedding industry?
Kumo Production Studio began as a small side project, long before it had any formal company name or brand. I worked as an event photographer through college, putting in time learning how to capture images of people in fast-paced environments. I loved the merging of photography disciplines, and the challenge of events, which brought me (through the help and encouragement of some wonderful friends) to weddings. No wedding is the same, each has its own set of challenges
What is your favorite part about a wedding?
I am a sucker for the first looks! It is always beautiful to see the genuine joy and emanating love from couples seeing each other on their wedding day. It is a special moment that couples can have away from all the hustle and preparation.
