Oh heyyyy! I’m Katie! I’m a Colorado wedding & elopement photographer, adventurer, and cat mom. I’m a Colorado gal born and raised. I love a good hike as long as it’s followed by a burger after, and I prefer to be in bed by 9 with a good book. But don’t let that fool you: I’m READY to be your wedding hype woman!

I use super fun prompts, simple poses, dumb jokes, and a journalistic approach to capture candid moments and your authentic selves. You’re gonna look at the photos I capture and say, “Damn, that’s US”.

Fun facts

What do you consider your style to be?

I am all about true-to-life, bright, and colorful photos. I want to create photos that are going to be timeless, and that you'll be proud to hang 30 years from now! I had someone once describe my style as "National Geographic, but make it weddings" and that was the BIGGEST compliment ever!! Before I ever shot weddings, I was a landscape photographer and combining epic landscapes with the emotional moments of a wedding day is my fave.

What are your favorite kinds of couples to work with?

I love all of my couples, because they're people who love to make anything into an adventure, and just have that down-to-earth, fun loving spirit. Whether it's backpacking, prepping for a road trip, or just getting midnight slices of pizza, they really are down for anything and they definitely trust the process! Oh, and animal lovers of COURSE!

What are your favorite activities to do in The Rockies?

I am a Colorado girl born and raised, so of course I like the classics: hiking, camping, backpacking, and snowboarding (even if I'm average at best). But to be more specific, one of my favorite things to do is go on a good fall colors hike, find a spot to relax with a book and a snack, and then hike back and enjoy a good burger after the effort!

What is your favorite part about a wedding?

Whether it's an intimate elopement or a big wedding, I am such a sucker for hearing the vows a couple shares together. I get teary eyed EVERY time! Being trusted to capture a wedding day, and be witness to a couple's story is just so magical, and the vows remind me of that every time.
