I’m Julia, a wedding photographer based in Vancouver, working throughout Western Canada. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from OCAD University in Toronto, and my work is rooted in strong visual storytelling, light, and composition.

I work with both film and digital, blending the timeless feel of film with the flexibility of digital to create intentional, cohesive imagery.

My approach is documentary-led with gentle direction when needed, allowing moments to happen naturally while keeping the focus on honest emotion, connection, and the overall energy of the day.

What are your favorite kinds of couples to work with?

My favorite couples to work with are creative, intentional people who care about experience as much as imagery. Couples who are open, expressive, and not afraid to do things a little differently, whether that’s choosing meaningful locations, bringing personality into the details, or simply being fully present with each other. I connect best with people who trust the process and value honest, artful documentation over perfection.
