Photos for the thoughtful & adventurous
Howdy! My name is Jillian Brown and I am a Colorado-based Wedding & Elopement Photographer with a focus on real love stories. With my clients, the goal is always connection & experience. Connection with me and with each other. I don’t want taking photos to just be something to mark off your planning checklist, but to be an integral and FUN part of the process. Let’s dance, listen to music and completely goof off with each other while becoming the best of friends along the way. Whether we’re hiking up a mountain or frolicking around a field, let’s showcase what you and your partner have built together with photos that will make you fall in love all over again.
Love Notes
She is truly an artist, with a gift, capturing moments to be enjoyed for a lifetime. One of my favorite parts of our wedding was having Jill as a part of it! She captured our love from the beginning with our engagement pictures followed by our wedding day. Jill listens, executes, and then delivers beyond any expectation! The authenticity of who Jill is as a person is then translated into her craft. She is truly an artist, with a gift, capturing moments to be enjoyed for a lifetime.

You NEED her on your wedding team! Jill was such a perfect photographer! She made me feel comfortable ALWAYS and was SO easy to work with! She was quick to make the best out of situations and was always positive (especially for this COVID-19 bride)! You NEED her on your wedding team and not to mention all of her photos are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

Fellow photographer here. It is really hard to find someone to trust to take your photos when you are in the industry and have very high standards. I am obsessed with my engagement photos from Jillian. I highly recommend her and would use her for a second shooter in my own business. This should tell you a lot. She is an artist and well worth it.

Fun facts
What do you consider your style to be?
I would consider my style to be nature and moment driven. Capturing not only the emotions from my couple but the environment around them as well, helping to truly tell a story. My favorite quote fits well here: "There are no forms in nature. Nature is a vast, chaotic collection of shapes. You as an artist create configurations out of chaos." - Ansel Adams
How did you get started in the wedding industry?
I have to give this one up to my dad. You could always catch him with camera in hand on family vacations, holidays and all the little moments in between. His eye for documenting was what sparked it all for me.
What are your favorite activities to do in The Rockies?
Ooh tough one. I love it all - but my favorite activities at the moment are of course, skiing a good bluebird day and nothing beats a refreshing swim in an alpine lake after a rewarding hike!
What is your favorite part about a wedding?
My favorite part of a wedding day is the moments right after the couple kisses and walks down the aisle before the congratulations start. Those few, precious, quiet moments where all the nerves melt away and they realize that they have shifted into a new, beautiful phase of life!
