Hi, I’m Megan — proud owner of Here Comes the Floof!
Animals have always been at the heart of everything I do. I began my career as a veterinary assistant at just 17, and spent five years working in shelter medicine as a veterinary technician, and several years after that as a veterinary technician at small animal practices. Today, when I’m not helping couples create unforgettable wedding memories with their pets, I work full-time as a diagnostic veterinary sonographer. That’s a fancy way of saying I perform ultrasounds to help diagnose health issues in pets.
Here Comes the Floof was born from my love of animals and the joy of weddings. I believe our pets are more than just companions, they’re family. My mission is to ensure your furry friend is cared for, loved, and receives undivided attention on your big day, so you can focus on what matters most: making memories.

“Megan was SO amazing!! She made our wedding so enjoyable and relaxing, because we knew our two dogs were in excellent hands. Megan and Jess went above and beyond for us. They got so many photos for us, and delivered them the next day, had our pups sign the guestbook with their paw prints, and made sure in all of the professional photography photos that they were looking. Not to mention that Megan made our dog, Grace, her own floral collar, and brought Gus a tuxedo. They walked them down the aisle and made everything so perfect. I could not recommend Here Comes the Floof more.
I am beyond grateful we found them, and that they were so good to our pups. I was nervous about our 6 month old puppy, and making them deal with his energy and no listening skills. They did incredible with him, and he loved them. So did Grace. At the end of the night, they made sure to send photos of them back home in their crates after dinner and Megan even got Grace's paw prints for me on several sheets of paper because I had mentioned I have been meaning to do that so I could get a tattoo of it. What do you consider your style to be?
I have worked with dogs of all sorts of temperaments and personalities, with my experience. My goal is to make your dog feel comfortable, relaxed and loved, throughout their time at your wedding.
What are your favorite kinds of couples to work with?
The ones who are absolutely OBSESSED with their pets! I love to get creative and help include the dogs in anyway I can. The couples that consider their dogs as family are often very open to getting numerous photos and memories with their pets. I commonly hear from my former clients that the photos they get with their dogs, are some of their favorite photos of the entire day!
How did you get started in the wedding industry?
My husband and I got married in 2023 in Durango, Colorado. We realized at this time, there was a huge need for pet care on wedding day. We decided shortly after getting married to start a wedding pet care company that is all inclusive. It was the perfect idea for me, with all of my experience in the veterinary field and working with dogs.
What is your favorite part about a wedding?
Weddings tell the story of who we are, through thoughtful details, unforgettable moments, and the loved ones who gather in support. I cherish the joy and lasting memories weddings create. Including dogs in these special celebrations adds an extra layer of happiness — they’re not just pets, they’re family, and they deserve a place in the spotlight too.
