Heather Woolery Photography
Hey Friend! I’m Heather Woolery Photographer, writer, frequent flyer, travel guide and coffee connoisseur.
I specialize in smaller weddings and elopements and am so passionate about helping couples document their day for all that it is…the big AND the small moments.
Based out of my home state of Idaho, I travel from the mountains and beaches of the Pacific Northwest to the sands of the Sahara and beyond all to document your unique and beautiful story.
What do you consider your style to be? Wild, Earthy and Documentary.
What are your favorite kinds of couples to work with? If you love hanging your hand out of the car window with the perfect song playing, roaming barefoot, and the smell of a campfire, we're probably going to be a good fit. I'm here for the wild hearted and the bold spirited. In the woods, on the beach, on a mountain or by the river, I'm 100% here to help document your day. From the small details you've hand chosen to the place itself, to those beautiful intimate moments...my part in your day is to document it, so your part can be to experience it.
Do you travel for clients? If so, where? I'm based out of North Idaho and travel everywhere for my couples. I've been to countless National Parks, all over the Rockies and Pacific Northwest all the way to the Sahara Desert for my couples. I'm always down for an adventure.
Where do you find your design inspiration? I grew up along the Snake River and the Owyhee's. I was always in nature hiking, exploring, collecting rocks and sprigs of sagebrush. My parents always had National Geographic magazines on the coffee table that I'd flip through and dream of traveling to all of these magical places. As I got older, I started reading Condé Nast Traveller and other travel journals and my passion for storytelling just completely took over. Nature and travel are my biggest inspirations to my work.
