Love Notes

“It was so wonderful to have Hannah capture our day! All of our wedding guests loved watching her progress through the evening. Hannah was also super easy to work with and took the time to listen to specific elements we wanted to have captured. We absolutely love how our painting turned out and loved working with her!”

“I can’t say enough good things about the whole experience. Hannah traveled to us, brought her art supplies, met our wedding planner at the reception venue, picked her spot to set up and captured the whole event effortlessly. It was amazing!! The guests were amazed at how she captured the mood and details of the reception all in such a short time….from a blank canvas to a completed work of art. Plus her personality is as attractive and vibrant as her artwork! Our daughter and son-in-law love their keepsake.”

-Janie K

“Hannah was great to work with. We gave her some general ideas on design and she ran with it, delivering a piece that was exactly what we were looking for! I would highly recommend Hannah because of her creativity, timeliness, and professionalism. When you hire Hannah you can expect a beautiful and well executed finished product. Looking forward to working with her again!”

Fun facts

What do you consider your style to be?

My style incorporates a lot of emotion, color and rhythm of the day. It is euphoric, colorful, nature-inspired and timeless.

What are your favorite kinds of couples to work with?

I love working with couples that are connected to the place they are getting married. I specifically enjoy working with mountain lovers, and desert lovers - people who want to incorporate the outdoors into their painting. I also enjoy working with couples who are open and trusting of my creative process. I am a love inclusive painter – I will paint any and all marriages regardless of who you choose to love!

How did you get started in the wedding industry?

I’ve painted for more than 10 years and a fellow artist and friend began painting weddings a couple years ago. After talking with her about her experience, I was intrigued about the process. After asking non-stop questions, I was hooked. Wedding paintings encapsulate so many things I love – plein air painting, people, parties, plus the privilege of being a part of peoples’ happiest and memorable day of their lives.

Where do you find your design inspiration?

For wedding paintings, it’s all about experiencing the shared joy on their special day. All of the small, intricate details that make the day unique, including the intensely beautiful emotions and the natural surroundings are inspiring. I especially love the mountains and desert, therefore weddings with these elements are very exciting for me to paint.
