Kianna's team handled minor day-of hiccups leaving us blissfully unaware so we were able to be fully present with our friends and family. The next day, Kianna and her team cleaned the venue and delivered the gifts and leftover wedding flowers/accessories to our home, letting us relax.

“We live in Los Angeles and hired Kianna at Golden Hour Events as our full service planner for our September 2024 destination wedding in Big Sky. I am incredibly type A and used to work in the wedding industry so I was a very hands-on bride, which Kianna handled with grace and understanding. Even when my ideas or requests seemed outlandish she approached them with a can-do attitude, always making me feel seen and cared for. She is open to feedback, a great collaborator, and has solid relationships with local vendors and venues. Most of all, she has a huge heart and cares so much about what she does and about creating an experience for couples that is as seamless as possible. After the wedding, we found out about all kinds of little glitches that came up along the way that she managed to handle without us being the wiser (including almost having to helicopter our officiant out of Yellowstone so he didn’t miss our wedding, and sending her dad to a jeweler in Bozeman to replace a bracelet I’d given one of my bridesmaids who immediately lost it and was devastated). She provides a really thoughtful level of service, and the fact that she works alongside her family members means that her staff is just as invested as she is.
Our wedding was not perfect (there’s no such thing!) but looking back, we are so grateful that we were able to let go and be present knowing that Kianna would handle issues as they came up. There’s not a thing we would have done differently and we owe a huge thanks to Kianna for helping us execute the wedding weekend of our dreams.”

What do you consider your style to be?
My style is timeless, romantic, and design-driven, with a refined yet organic touch. I believe that every wedding should feel intentional, beautifully curated, and deeply personal. From the overall aesthetic down to the smallest details, I take a thoughtful approach to design—blending soft, natural elements with elevated, polished styling to create a celebration that feels effortless yet unforgettable. Beyond just the visuals, I focus on creating an experience that is warm, inviting, and stress-free for my couples. I truly get to know each of them, welcoming them into my extended wedding family so I can craft a day that reflects their unique love story. There’s a little bit of magic in every wedding I design—whether it’s the golden-hour glow, a stunning tablescape, or the thoughtful, meaningful touches that make a day feel like them. My goal is to bring that magic to life in a way that feels seamless, beautiful, and completely one-of-a-kind.
How did you get started in the wedding industry?
My journey into the wedding industry started as an intern, where I had the opportunity to lead day-of coordination tasks and gain hands-on experience. From there, I worked under an experienced planner for five years before she retired, allowing me to learn the ins and outs of both logistics and design. During that time, I also worked as a bridal consultant at a local dress shop, deepening my knowledge of both wedding gowns and suits. These experiences gave me a well-rounded understanding of weddings from multiple perspectives and fueled my passion for not just love stories, but the wedding industry as a whole. I knew I wanted to create a business that allowed me to fully support couples from start to finish, bringing their vision to life in a way that felt effortless and personal.
Where do you find your design inspiration?
I find my design inspiration in nature, fashion, architecture, and, most importantly, my couples. The stunning landscapes of Montana often influence my designs, blending organic beauty with refined elegance. I also draw inspiration from bridal fashion, where textures, fabrics, and silhouettes spark ideas for color palettes and tablescapes. Architecture and interior design play a role in how I approach layouts and structure, ensuring every space feels intentional and inviting. But above all, my couples are my biggest inspiration—each love story is unique, and I love translating their personalities, style, and journey into a beautifully curated celebration.
What is your favorite part about a wedding?
My favorite moment of every wedding is when my clients see their reception space for the first time. It’s something I always schedule into the timeline because it’s truly so special! After months—sometimes over a year—of planning, designing, and bringing ideas to life, this is the moment when everything comes together. Seeing their faces light up as they step into the space we’ve envisioned for so long is incredibly rewarding. It’s a moment of pure joy, and I love getting to share it with them before the celebration begins!
