What do you consider your style to be? GAIA STVDIO has it’s roots in a lifelong journey of studying fine art and design. Like many artists, Anait’s designs are inspired by the natural world, art, travel, design and play. Always pushing the boundary to try new things while keeping balance through floral structural and design integrity. Anait is currently loving a contemporary twist on Dutch masters flower paintings, garden-chic & ikebana-inspired design.
What are your favorite kinds of couples to work with? The most important thing to establish for GAIA STVDIO is trust. When working in such a fun, collaborative industry we are offered the opportunity to work with a variety of people and their different styles. That fusion of creative input and the unique opportunities for collaboration is what creates the most creative and unforgettable weddings. GAIA STVDIO embraces the opportunity to work with various styles to push our work creatively and the only way to do that with confidence is with trust.
How did you get started in the wedding industry? Having made a New Years resolution to finally try her hand at floral design, Anait decided to try her luck in getting a job at a small flower shop in Brooklyn. Catching a lucky break, she turned up at the right place at the right time and was hired as an assistant and went on to help grow the business in their weddings + events department. After a couple of years Anait moved on to begin doing some of her own weddings and working with some of the most unique and incredible floral designers in NYC.
