What are your favorite kinds of couples to work with?
I adore couples head-over-heels in love! The fun, quirky, and genuinely joyful kind. If happy tears and killer (or unexpected) dance moves are your thing, you're my people! Bonus points for laughter! – weddings should be as joyful as the love that inspires them!
How did you get started in the wedding industry?
I've always had a passion for interior design, flowers and everything pretty! I could tell you a few stories about how I got into the wedding industry but let me start with my very first encounter: I was gifting an arrangement of flowers to a friend's engagement party. I budgeted $300, which I thought was plenty, for flowers... the arrangement came out to be "too big for a small but too small for a medium size arrangement" I was baffled. I added another $100 worth of flowers, and the arrangement barely grew! (I even have a picture to prove it.) That's when it hit me: Fresh flowers are expensive! Suddenly, all those wedding arrangements I've seen flashed before my eyes. If that was $400, what were those? thousands?! And they don't even get to keep them? Oh, it goes straight into compost? That's when I saw a need in the market for more affordable wedding florals and decided to take the leap and start my own business. I built my brand on a commitment to creating wedding florals of exceptional quality, realism and beauty. With my entrepreneurial spirit, the wedding industry seemed like a perfect fit for my skills and interest. Its been a lot of hard work but its been incredibly rewarding to build something from the ground up and be a part of couples biggest milestone in their love story!
What is your favorite part about a wedding?
Oh, there are so many beautiful moments! But honestly, my favorite part is witnessing the pure, radiant joy between the couple. That moment when they say "I do" and their faces light up – it's just so incredibly special. It's a privilege to be a part of those moments and see two people begin their forever together.
