Fun facts

What are your favorite kinds of couples to work with?

I love collaborating with couples who are passionate and want to design something truly one of a kind. That could mean working with non-traditional stones like rubies or sapphires, or incorporating personal symbolism into a ring. I’m designing an engagement ring right now with an antique-inspired floral motif for a bride who works for the Nature Conservancy. Your wedding rings should reflect and celebrate who you are and what you love!

in the wedding industry?

If you design jewelry for any period of time, you will eventually get asked to do a wedding ring. The first wedding ring I ever designed was in 2004. It had a spectacular unheated Burma ruby center stone flanked by a pair of kite-shaped diamonds. When I saw how much joy it gave the couple, I was hooked. I feel lucky to be able to do something meaningful, and also bring a little piece of beauty into the world.

What are your favorite activities to do in The Rockies?

I’m an amateur photographer, and I love exploring Colorado with my camera. I can also be found hiking most weekends with my husband, Stephen, and our dog, Kyla.

What is your favorite part about a wedding?

The vows and the ring exchange are the heart of a wedding ceremony. It's a magical moment!
