Culinary Crafts

Taking care of people - especially through great food and service.

Culinary Crafts is Utah’s premier full-service caterer and 27-time winner of Utah’s “Best of State” award. With over forty years of experience, we have earned a reputation for providing the very best of what Utah hospitality has to offer.

We are happy to cater any size of event, from an intimate backyard wedding to a 6,000-guest convention. We work with local growers and vendors to source the freshest in-season ingredients, and we cook on-site so that we can deliver amazing food straight to the plate. From our in-house bakers, chefs, and event planners to our front-of-house team, we work tirelessly to meet and exceed your expectations.

Culinary Crafts is the exclusive or preferred caterer for the most wedding and event venues across the state. Additionally, we operate the Kimball Terrace venue in Park City and the Tasting Room in downtown SLC.

Love Notes
We completed two tastings with CC. After the first tasting, we gave extensive feedback. We went through several iterations of recipes for different courses, and in our second tasting it was obvious that CC took our feedback seriously. We were pleased with our second tasting, though still requested minor edits to recipes for our wedding day. On our wedding day, CC, yet again, took our feedback seriously. All the final requests were incorporated, and the quality of the food was exactly what we hoped for. There was nothing that we would change. The service, which is why we chose CC in the first place, was also fantastic. The signature cocktails were on par with any craft-cocktail. (CC’s bartending company was simply phenomenal, they worked closely with me to hand select a bar menu, wines included, that matched our food menu). Our cocktail menu included: a charcuterie station, fried squash blossoms, arancini, scallops, and a savory olive oil gelato macaroon with fried sage. Our dinner was 3-courses and included their fantastic, loaded focaccia. The first course was a plated salad of roasted beets, fennel orange and blood orange citrus disks, burrata, red rock pistachios, with a honey citrus vinaigrette. The second course was a plated handmade black truffle ricotta malfatti. The third course was a family style entrée, served on large wooden boards (shared amongst 4-people), which included half roasted chickens with lemon preserves, Castelvetrano olives, and chimichurri, lemon, and rosemary stuffed branzino fish with caper butter and a sundried tomato, artichoke, and kalamata olive relish, and grilled asparagus with olive oil, fresh lemon and black garlic panko, and blistered vine cherry tomatoes. The chicken was cooked in Santa maria grills and the branzino was cooked in wood fired pizza ovens. Everything was done onsite for guests to see and smell. For dessert, CC passed out wonderful churro bites and bacon bourbon popcorn, set up a beautiful coffee bar, and served their homemade superb gelato. We lost count of the number of guests that told us that the dining experience was the best that they have ever had at a wedding. The food was fantastic, the service and operations blew us away, and we would 100% recommend CC to any food-obsessed couples. Most importantly, they are willing to take feedback and work with clients throughout the entire process to ensure complete satisfaction.
