Blue Leaf Design Co.

Bespoke paper goods and custom wedding decor, created with love.

Blue Leaf Design Co. was born from a love of sweet words and beautiful design. I love to combine gorgeous typography, soft styles, and loving words to create fun, beautiful, and unexpected paper goods and decor.

My products range from full wedding invitation suites, with details such as foil printing and letterpress; to day-of stationery; to custom, hand-lettered signage on everything from acrylic to wood. I offer custom calligraphy and I live for the small details — acrylic table numbers and placecards are just some of my favorites!

I work with small, local printing houses for all of my paper goods, and hand-letter all signage myself. For couples located within 30 miles of Durango, I offer table number and sign rentals, including vintage windows and copper arbors.

I welcome custom orders and love to create something one-of-a-kind and unique for my couples to help bring your event details to life!

Love Notes

“Working with Beth at Blue Leaf Design Co. was one of my favorite parts of planning my wedding this summer. Not only is her work absolutely stunning but she was open to customizing and changing her designs to go with our vision. Obviously planning a wedding in 2020 was a bit challenging; Beth was so kind and offered to help with editing, sending out revisions etc. which was so thoughtful. I’m a sucker for everything pretty and Beth goes above and beyond when it comes to every little detail- from the stationary itself to the packaging down to the bows. It’s all perfect! Absolutely adored working with her!”

“Beth’s custom, hand-lettered, one-of-a-kind signs were the most perfect accents to our wedding. I was impressed with how many options I had and how customizable each option was. 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing cute, clean & professional grade signs for any project.”

“We loved our signs and placecards SO much! We can’t thank you enough for all you did for our wedding! You helped make it so beautiful!”

Fun facts

What do you consider your style to be?

Equal parts modern and classic, romantic and fun. More than anything, I want my designs to be approachable and reflect who the couple is.

How did you get started in the wedding industry?

After getting married myself in 2018, I fell in love with all parts of wedding planning, but what I really loved was building the small details: invites, signs, seating charts and the like. I’ve always been a bit of a stationery addict, but after designing my own wedding invitations I realized just how much I loved creating something that captured both the energy of my husband & I, and also what we wanted our event to feel like for our guests. I wanted to continue to share that with others, and have been so lucky to work with some wonderful couples along the way!

Where do you find your design inspiration?

It’s usually one element of an idea that initially speaks to me -- whether that is simply an envelope color or the way a certain word looks & feels when I write it out. I’ll usually take that one piece and build on it to create a full cohesive design.

What is your favorite part about a wedding?

I love the way a wedding ends up having individual moments that speak to each person involved -- from the couples to the guests -- which solidify the way it will be loved and remembered. While everyone remembers different moments from a great wedding, they all collectively remember the way it felt and moved them!
