“I was fortunate enough to hire Rachael and acronychous mobile right after she finished remodeling it for my birthday party. I have been a client of Rachael’s brick and mortar for a few years now. The trailer or The Nailer! is so cute inside – bright and clean with colorful wallpaper and comfy chairs. it has that vintage feel but is also modern. A few of my friends and I got manicures and drank mimosas — it was awesome! Lane is so funny and sweet and everyone loved their nails. It felt like a little bubble of fun on a very hot June day (there is A/C!). Fun facts
What do you consider your style to be?
Eclectic, to be sure. My nail shop gets mistaken for a tattoo shop quite often. I grew up in a house with walls covered in art work from all genres. I love classic vintage styles and could wear a good pair of jeans, a white shirt, some turquoise and boots just about every day. That being said, I love to find vintage, flowing gowns from the 50's and 60's and have more pairs of Vans than any 38 year old should.
How did you get started in the wedding industry?
After doing nails in my shop for 6 years and working with a lot of brides and grooms, I started wondering why there weren't any nail technicians traveling to weddings. I've hosted bridal parties at my shop in the past but saw a gap in the market to provide excellent, high end nail services on location. I wanted to create a memorable, relaxing experience for the wedding party before the big event.
Do you travel for clients? If so, where?
Absolutely! It's why we built The Nailer in the first place! I grew up taking road trips with my family all over the southwest and the travel bug never really left me. I'm so excited to be able to offer high end nail services on location! We will travel within the southwest region or further! Just depends on the client.
Where do you find your design inspiration?
All over! I find a ton of inspiration in fabrics and textiles, pottery, wallpaper and vintage furniture. Color inspiration is everywhere, all the time. I love working with clients to bring what they've got in mind together with my knowledge of proportion and composition to create a beautifully balanced manicure.
