I'd like to say that our love story started when I was 12 years old - the first time I saw the older boy who shares my first name. We grew up in neighboring towns and I would see him at sporting events and the county fair. He was in high school, and I was definitely at the still wearing braces, awkward in my own skin age. But that didn't stop me from developing a major crush and telling my parents that he was in fact, my future husband, which ultimately became his nickname for the remainder of my school-age years....
