Colorado

When it all began, our wedding was set to take place in rural Vermont, nearby the New England towns in which we grew up and where many of our friends and family still live today. However, like many other plans in 2020, this one was destined to change. After much debate amidst the uncertainty of the pandemic, we concluded that a small wedding close to our home here in Colorado was all that would be possible. From COVID-19 turning the world upside down, to the Glenwood fires raging at the foot of our valley, adversity met with agility was the theme. We were kept on our toes even right up to the day, when for the first time all summer, we woke up to the sound of rain coming down in buckets outside....
