In September 2020 Daniel and I decided to go to the Rocky Mountains hiking and backpacking in lieu of our annual vacation abroad since it was Covid. We couldn’t find any reservations at the campsites because everyone else had the same idea, so we splurged and booked ourselves into the Assiniboine Lodge. Arriving by helicopter in the snow was pure magic. Our little cabin was propane lit and the hosts would deliver hot water to you in the morning so you could wash up before breakfast.  The next morning we walk to sun and all the snow was gone, we decided to hike to Nub Peak....
