Set on a scenic riverbank and just minutes from the iconic Bund and Shanghai City Centre, Bulgari Hotel Shanghai sets a new standard for luxury accommodation in China’s most cosmopolitan city. As part of the visionary SUHE CREEK project, the Hotel features sweeping views of the Bund and of Pudong’s dramatic skyline. Balancing nature, contemporary design and heritage architecture, the property combines intimate ambience and personalised service, including in the 82 Rooms—19 of which are exquisite Suites. Occupying the top eight floors of a 48-story tower that is also home to Bulgari Residences, the Hotel soars high above the city, bridging past and future with its extraordinary design. Poised to be one of the city’s premier destinations for work and leisure, the Hotel is also home to a 2,000-square-metre Bulgari Spa and fitness centre, and state-of-the-art meeting facilities. It will also feature the rooftop Il Ristorante – Niko Romito and Il Bar—which are destined to become some of the most fashionable venues in Shanghai, and the Bao Li Xuan restaurant, serving exquisite Cantonese classics and local Shanghainese specialties in the historical atmosphere of the Chamber of Commerce Shanghai building adjacent to the Hotel tower.
In keeping with Shanghai’s evolution into an Asian capital of art and style, Bulgari Hotel Shanghai was conceived of as a contemporary masterpiece.
As for the other Bulgari Hotels & Resorts, the renowned Italian architectural firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, signed the hotel’s design and created a glamorous contemporary masterpiece by blending the distinctive Italian refinement of Bulgari with rich layers of Shanghai history. Exceptionally spacious guest rooms offer beautiful panoramic views of the iconic Bund waterfront, Pudong skyline and beyond.
The Hotel’s tower is connected to the historic Chamber of Commerce Shanghai, originally completed in 1916, and now completely restored to evoke memories of its glorious heyday. The centrepiece of this magnificent building are the 500-square-metre, triple-height-ceilinged Bulgari Ballroom, the haute-cuisine Cantonese restaurant Bao Li Xuan and The Whisky Bar.
