Wildflower Western Wedding at Moose Creek Ranch

September 21, 2026 BY: Amy

“We really wanted our wedding day to feel like us in every sense – authentic, effortless, and true to who we are. We didn’t want to just create something that looked good on paper but didn’t reflect our lives or what we love. So whenever we were faced with a decision, we kept coming back to one simple question: does this feel like us? We spend so much of our time outdoors, and some of our most meaningful memories have been made in nature, so it felt natural to weave that into the entire weekend. That’s what led us to Moose Creek Ranch. It gave us the perfect setting to bring everything together in a way that felt organic and unforced. Having everyone stay on the property made it even more special, because it created this intimate experience that allowed for so much genuine connection where we could truly slow down, be present, and soak in time with all of our favorite people. We’re really intentional about our relationships and value quality time, so creating space for connection throughout the entire weekend was incredibly important to us. We didn’t just want a single day; we wanted it to feel like a shared experience from start to finish. We planned a weekend full of activities that everyone could be part of, starting with river rafting down the Snake River on Friday, followed by a relaxed, campfire welcome dinner that evening. On the morning of the wedding, we went for a road bike ride together before getting ready. Being outside is what grounds us, so starting the day that way felt incredibly special and calming. Our ceremony took place in an open grass field, surrounded by the mountains and simple wildflowers scattered throughout. One of the most meaningful parts of the day was having my brother marry us, which made the ceremony feel incredibly personal and heartfelt. There was so much love in that moment, standing there marrying the love of my life with all of our people surrounding us. I’ll hold onto that moment forever! The entire day unfolded in a way that felt so aligned with who we are, and having everyone right there with us the whole weekend made it that much more meaningful. Looking back, it was everything we could have hoped for and more, and we wouldn’t have changed a single thing”
