Warm and Tender Montana Engagements

“The first time Cal and Kaitlyn formally met, Kaitlyn was in town for the holidays and they were at a Christmas party that was being held at Cal’s brother and sister-in-law’s house, who happen to be good friends of Kaitlyn’s. Cal made his appearance in true working man fashion wearing a pair of jeans that were ripped from his waist to his ankles, work boots covered in oil, and an old carhartt sweatshirt that will forever smell like diesel. They got to talking and quickly connected over their love for old country songs and their equally competitive nature. They both remember how easily their conversation flowed, and how it just came natural in the wise words of George Strait. Fast forward and Kaitlyn moved back home to the couple’s hometown, Butte, MT where they now live with their sweet 3 year old chocolate lab, Riggs. When Cal proposed the two were on a 4th of July roadtrip where they had taken a slight detour to go explore Zion National Park on their way to Nevada. What Kaitlyn had thought was just a great photo op in front of the Grand Kolob Canyons had turned into much more when she turned to see Cal on one knee. Saying yes to forever with Cal was the easiest and her most favorite to date!”
