Vibrant Jewel Toned Colorado Wedding

“… Mara and Morgan’s guests were primarily traveling in from New York City so they wanted to ensure they got the full Steamboat experience. They had a welcome party on Thursday on the rooftop at Vaqueros…margaritas are the perfect way to kick off a party! On Friday, guests tubed down the Yampa River before the official welcome party at Aurum Food & Wine. While there was one unlucky mountain shower, it resulted in the most gorgeous pink sky and double rainbow that lasted the entire evening. For their Saturday wedding, Mara and Morgan wanted to combine some modern elements of NYC where they live with the rustic nature of Steamboat. It was important to them to choose as many local vendors as possible and their florist, Holly Ann Bruns of Wildhare Floral Co. in Steamboat created the most luscious jewel toned floral installations that had guests talking all night! All of the drinks were provided by Central Park Liquor in Steamboat and served by the team from Biscuits and Berries Catering. Guests were treated to a grand grazing table during the cocktail hour and finished the evening with liquid nitrogen ice cream sandwiches made in front of them. The event was captured by the very talented Kari Geha who also shot the couple’s engagement shoot. Kari recommended Aflatis films as the videographer who had a drone flying all weekend for special video footage. Guests danced all night to a mix of 80’s and 90’s hits and topped off the weekend with a farewell brunch at the bride’s parents’ house.”
