“Kiralyn & McKay’s wedding is infused with European inspiration, modern patterns and colors, and overall grounded in elegance. Kiralyn’s background in art, design, and a European study abroad set the tone for large decisions all the way down to quaint details. Design elements that set this wedding apart include a tablescape centered on candelabras, ikebana floral installments, checkerboard pattern incorporated throughout the dance floor and invitation suite, raw sandstone, and more. Guests came to experience a wedding, and left with a round of mini golf, a new watercolor painting, a slice of decadent cake, and a send-off celebrated with paper streamer poppers. The ceremony was made special by a courtyard scene, garden chairs, a broken arch, and the wedding party donned in various tones of satin. The family dinner transpired in the stunning marble architecture of the capitol’s great hall, with rows of banquet tables. Finally, the reception was reflective of a long, warm summer night, with desserts, appetizers, mocktails, lounge furniture, a dial-in guest “book,” and more. By the end of it all, the amazing Peyton Curry had captured the day digitally, with film, and by polaroid. It was magical!”
