Timeless Love at a Beautiful Museum Wedding in Wyoming

“There are few places in the world that instantly quiet you, reminding you to slow down and really take in the moment. For us, the Tetons are that place. It’s where we feel the most gratitude, and it was the feeling we wanted to share with our loved ones on our wedding day. This place already held so much meaning for us. Josh proposed during a trip where we borrowed a friend’s van and road-tripped through Grand Teton and Yellowstone. I said ‘yes,’ and two months later we bought our own van. Multiple cross-country adventures of our own, countless memories, and one dog later, we knew Jackson had to be the place we said ‘I do.’ We ended up with just 31 guests. Not an easy choice coming from a big Italian family, but the intimacy made it even more special. We got to be intentional with every moment, surrounded by love, tradition, and reminders of family who were watching over us. I wore a seven-generation-old necklace that all the girls in my family have worn on their wedding day, my dress was embroidered with flowers similar to my Great Grandma Gloria’s artwork, and we saw rainbows all weekend long. Our venue, the National Museum of Wildlife Art, also felt like fate. When we were living out of our van in Jackson, it was the place we’d go on rainy days, surrounded by history, beauty, and art reminded us how inspiring and beautiful Mother Nature. To have our family gather there for our wedding made it all the more meaningful. In the end, it felt different than a wedding. It was a celebration that pulled everyone out of their daily lives and into a weekend of joy, gratitude, and love. Looking back at the photos, what means the most is seeing how much fun our family had in a place that’s so special to us. And if there’s one piece of advice we’d share, it’s this: if a place truly speaks to you, trust it. It will give your wedding a magic you could never plan for.”
