Timeless Coeur D’Alene I Dos

February 24, 2023 BY: Bailey

“This day was a long anticipated day. the couple started dating their freshman year of college, near Boise, Idaho, were engaged just after their junior year, and then married after graduation. The bride grew up in a neighboring city to Coeur D’Alene, so they knew this was the perfect “destination” venue location to celebrate their wedding day. The couple treated their bridal party to a week long vacation – including a day of golf, boating on Coeur d’Alene lake, and a LOT of fun. The officiant of the wedding was the bride’s father, who was diagnosed with terminal cancer just 9 months beforehand. The couple didn’t know that his cancer had progressed as much as it had at the time and they certainly didn’t know that this was the last event they had with him before he passed in November of 2022. He got to spend the week celebrating with the bridal party and marry his daughter to the love of her life. It was something that the family will never forget. The bride said, “It’s bittersweet looking back at the memories from our wedding day and week. We couldn’t have planned a more fun and special wedding. We miss him so much, but are so grateful to have included my dad in all of it. We can’t look through our photos without tears in our eyes.”
