Sweet Wyoming Wedding at Snow King

“Brad and I met during our Sophomore year at the University of Louisville in a humanities class. The class was at 8 a.m. and Brad sat down right next to me. Something to note about Brad is he is always energetic and enjoys talking and connecting with people. On the other hand, I did not have any interest in making friends in an 8 a.m. class. I was more interested in getting through the class and headed back home for a nap. I was also interested in copying his homework and study guides, which he gladly gave me in exchange for my phone number. After that semester we did not see each other again until we ran into one another at a mutual friend’s house during our Junior year. Our friend groups somewhat merged together and had a New Year’s Eve party to ring in 2019! When the ball dropped, we ended up having our first kiss. In the following months, Brad was consistently pursuing me. I was very stubborn and was not interested in getting into a relationship at that time in my life. Sweet Brad never stopped. I remember when everything changed for me, I was having lunch with my Dad one day on campus. We talked about classes and anything new in each other’s lives. I told him about Brad and how I just wasn’t interested in dating right then. My Dad said something I will never forget, “Maybe you should give him a chance, he is pursuing you like no other guy ever has before.” A lightbulb went off for me, and I am so glad that I did not miss out on being with my sweet Bradley James. Fast forward to today, we just had the most incredible wedding celebrating with our closest friends and family in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. My wedding day was the most stress-free, beautiful day where we were surrounded by our closest friends and family in the most breathtaking area where I got to marry the love of my life. It was everything I ever wanted and so much more. Someone else told us before we started planning to make a list of the three most important things that we each wanted in our wedding. When we got stuck making decisions we would go back to what was most important to us and that helped a lot. Other than that I would say let people help when they offer, watch Tik Toks on how to stay organized when planning a wedding, and recognize that at the end of the day the only thing that really matters is that you are coming together as one.”
