Surprise Proposal with Panoramic Views

February 5, 2023 BY: Bailey

“We actually lived in neighboring towns down in Texas but never knew each other. Katelyn and her family moved up here in 2016 to start a drywall company. I had relocated for work in 2020 from Texas to Denver for the company I was working for. After about 1 year of work, I started to look for another job and that’s when her dad hired me for construction work down in the Springs. After working for him a couple weeks, he proposed I stay at his house during the week so I wouldn’t have to drive over an hour every morning at 5. Before the first night there, her dad had sent me a picture of her (trying to play matchmaker I think) and said he has a single daughter. After we first met, I knew she was the one. Her beauty is unmatched and she has a smile that can light up a whole room. From there, we hit it off and started dating about 4 months later. March 15th, 2021 is our dating anniversary. I am planning to propose at Lost Gulch Lookout on November 12th, 2022. When we first met and started talking, the only way we could get alone time since I lived with her and her parents, was to go to the gym. We started going to the gym 7 days a week and it brought us closer and closer. Without our gym time, who knows where we would be at today. We enjoy going on weekend trips into the mountains to take in all of Colorado’s beauty. We love to travel and see new things as much as possible. We have been together for a year and 10 months on November 15th, 2022.”
