“From the very beginning, I knew I wanted our wedding day to feel modern, romantic, and luxurious. More than anything, I wanted it to be an experience. Something you could feel the moment you walked in. I started the day in a Pronovias gown that felt timeless and elegant, then later changed into a second look by Grace Loves Lace that felt effortless and fun for the rest of the night. My bouquet was one of my favorite details. Soft white florals paired with cascading green amaranthus created movement and elegance, setting the tone for the entire day. Our ceremony was designed to feel intimate and emotional. We had live musicians playing as I walked down the aisle, creating the softest atmosphere. A square floral arch filled with roses, hydrangeas, baby’s breath, and hanging amaranthus framed the moment perfectly, while florals continued down the aisle wrapped in white and finished with our custom monogram. That monogram became a signature detail for us and was woven throughout the day, from the dance floor to the bar menus and seating chart. For cocktail hour, we wanted something that felt elevated but still completely us. A putting golf area gave guests something fun to do and was such a natural nod to our love for golf. When guests entered the reception, the ballroom felt like a completely new space. We draped the entire room to create a rich and elegant atmosphere, layering florals and candlelight to bring warmth and height throughout the tables and over the dance floor. Long tables lined the dance floor and were draped in olive green velvet, while square tables were kept white to balance the all-black guest attire and keep the overall look soft and intentional. The DJ backdrop was designed to feel inviting and open, with florals, greenery, and a candle wall that naturally pulled guests onto the dance floor and kept the energy high all night. Our custom green and white marbled dance floor with touches of sparkling gold became the heart of the celebration. Nearby, our tiered cake was surrounded by florals and paired with a Baskin Robbins ice cream cart, because that combination felt fun and very us. Personal details meant everything to us. Our seating chart read “Good Day For It,” a phrase my husband always says on great golf days, and something that felt so welcoming for our guests who truly know us. The bar featured custom drinks for each of us and one created in honor of our girl Weezy, who we lost, as a joyful way to keep her close. We also created a souvenir station inspired by our love for golf and Las Vegas, with custom poker chips, cocktail cups, personalized M and M’s, and matches featuring the Las Vegas skyline. As the night came to a close, fireworks lit up the sky. It felt bold, emotional, and completely unforgettable. We even found ways to include our dogs through playful details like cocktail napkins and cutouts, allowing them to be part of the day without the added stress. Every detail was chosen with intention and love. When I look back, it feels like the truest reflection of us. A day filled with beauty, personality, and moments we will carry with us forever.”
