As a high-fashion couple based in New York City, Alexia and Alfonso brought their stylish edge to the Southwest with elevated decor, including red and green chiles woven into their floral centerpieces. They honored their heritages—Alexia’s Mexican and Alfonso’s Spanish—with touches like cigars flown in from Spain, a bottle of tequila straight from Alexia’s uncle in Mexico, and a bilingual ceremony led by a high-ranking judge, where both their mothers spoke heartfelt words (one in English, one in Spanish). A signature Spanish-style cocktail hour lasted two full hours and featured an endless variety of canapés, while each reception table had a designated ‘table captain’ gifted a small bottle of Patrón and a special badge, tasked with connecting guests and keeping the energy flowing.
