“Olivia and Tom met while working on the Character Art team at 343 Industries in Seattle. That summer, the St. Louis Blues and the Boston Bruins faced off in the Stanley Cup final. Naturally, Tom wore his Bruins jersey to the studio every game day. On one of these days, in a standup meeting, Tom’s manager asked Olivia about her Blues regalia. To which she replied, ‘I don’t wear professional sports attire to the office.’ An audible, ‘Oooooo!’ erupted from their team members. One thing led to another, and Tom’s manager and their team Lead talked them into a bet: if the Bruins win the cup, Olivia will wear Tom’s Bruins jersey all day at the office. If the Blues win, Tom must wear a pair of Olivia’s most colorful striped pants to the office all day (she was known on the team for her particular sense of style). Sure enough, the Blues won! The following day, Tom’s entrance to the office was met with cheers from the team. Olivia brought some options for Tom to try, and he settled on a breezy pair of black linen pants with white stripes. That day, Tom asked Olivia to join him and the artists for lunch. Luckily, they sat next to each other, and the rest is history. Their friendship soon turned into romance, and they started dating later that summer. They picked up and moved to Boise at the end of 2020. Two dogs and eight chickens later…When the couple moved to Idaho, Sun Valley became their beloved weekend getaway. It was on the peak of Bald Mountain that Tom proposed to Olivia.”
