“Justin and I met online while we were both in college. We lived far apart, but when he came South to visit family, we decided to meet in person. Our first date was at the beach, we went surfing and spent the whole day together. It felt so easy and fun, and I knew right away there was something special between us. We were long-distance for about a year until we both graduated. I realized early on that our relationship would last. We shared the same core values, had similar goals, and loved doing the same things. But I truly knew Justin was ‘the on’e during a trip to France (still one of my favorite trips ever) when everything just clicked, and I couldn’t imagine my life without him. A year after we started dating, Justin proposed in the exact spot in Yellowstone National Park where he’d first asked me to be his girlfriend. It was such a full-circle, meaningful moment: simple and so perfectly us. When we found DDX Ranch, we immediately knew it was the right venue. We loved the landscape, the charm of the wooden cabins, and how it felt just right for our families and friends to gather and celebrate. I was most excited to see everyone, some friends and family I hadn’t seen in ages, and to watch all our months of planning finally come to life. Everything ran so smoothly thanks to our amazing planner and photographer, Alicia and Neal. It’s hard to pick a favorite moment from the day. From our early morning start with hair and makeup by Cindy and Elva to dancing late into the night, every minute was filled with joy. The whole day flowed perfectly, and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. If I could share one piece of advice, it would be to enjoy every moment. The day goes by so fast, so take it all in and don’t stress too much. It truly will be the best day of your life.”
