“Our Stone Crossing styled shoot was an ethereal fusion of timeless elegance and whimsical garden party, set against the backdrop of a picturesque stone bridge and gorgeous greenery that gave a fairytale charm. At the heart of the shoot was the stunning ‘Abigail’ dress by Willows by Watterby, a dress I instantly fell in love with when I saw its intricate embroidered florals, sweetheart neckline, and delicate tulle. Its elements evoked a sense of romance and femininity completed with a gorgeous, bronzed soft glam look and hair done by Camille of BA Makeup Co. The dress served as a main focal point, and one that I wanted to highlight throughout the shoot. The tablescape, designed by Steele Oaks Events, featured vintage blue china from The Little Gem details atop rustic wooden chargers, adorned with a delicate floral arrangement by The Bonnie Vine. These pops of color added so much vibrancy to the bouquet and tablescape, giving it a sense of organic charm. The lounge setup by Rustique Rentals (who also provided the table and chairs) gave a cozy and colorful addition to the shoot with their floral pillows and different pastel shades. One of my favorite additions has to be the parasol which gave the bridals a sense of playfulness and highlights the current trend. Despite some challenges posed by the harsh afternoon light, I love how soft and dreamy it ended up giving the photos! I definitely wanted the bridals to be timeless, but also add my own artistic flair and capture our models candidly. Overall, each element of the shoot and our vendor’s ideas carefully curated a timeless and romantic scene which we are all in love with!”
