“Hanna and Erik met working for an adventure lifestyle company that produces events in ski towns throughout the American west. Both deeply passionate about the environment, winter sports, and Colorado, Hanna and Erik opted for a wedding at the base of Copper Mountain’s East Village, one of the first places they ever worked together. Hanna and Erik spent the first few hours of their wedding day skiing and snowboarding through nine inches of fresh powder with their photographer (me!) in tow. They got ready for the day at chalets adjacent the sprawling snow-covered peaks, and held their first look just feet from the resort’s main lift while skiers descended the runs behind them. They exchanged vows in a ceremony at dusk, where the light turned everything a soft and appropriate winter blue, and guests drank hot coffee and cocoa as full-bodied snowflakes danced through the air around them.”
