“Nestled between the wild skies of Alaska and the rugged peaks of Park City, our love story is one of serendipity and soaring dreams. We first met in a pilot bar in our hometown in Alaska, but it turned out we had always been just one degree of separation—our families’ paths had always been intertwined our whole lives but we never met each other. Both brand new pilots, we shared not only a passion for the skies but also the determination to build a life together through hard work and resilience through all of life’s trials and tribulations that would lie ahead. Along the way, we welcomed Hazy, our loyal black lab, who became a steadfast part of our family. Years later, Christopher proposed on a rocky mountainside overlooking their future and new home of Park City. A breathtaking vista of our dreams and the place where we’d plant our roots. Surrounded by the charm of Main Street’s historic mining and ski town, we said our vows and celebrated in the company of those we love most. The wedding day was simple and yet tasteful. Surrounded by white roses, the tables were dripping in champagne, and moody candles filled the room. Floor to ceiling glass displayed a view of the quaint main street and yet just outside on the terrace there was views of the ski lifts and mountainside beauty. The day was timeless, a perfect blend of true elegance and humble beauty, and a reflection of who we are and what we hold dear. More important than any choice of table cloth or cutlery was the people gathered together that truly made the day magic. The beauty, love, and support was unmatched. It was a spectacular day that will forever be cherished and celebrated. Now, as husband and wife, we continue to soar through life and the skies together, side by side as best friends and partners through every adventure that is yet to come.”
