Simple and Vibrant Wedding in the Mountains

With gorgeous details, a stunning couple, and a wedding venue that displays the incredible views of Rocky Mountain National Park, Becky and Alex’s June wedding was one of my favorite celebrations of 2022! Becky and Alex met on Admitted Students’ Day for the University of Denver Law School. After a few mingling moments, quality conversation, and liquid courage, Alex shared with his best friend that he was going to marry the beautiful and smart women he met that night. Becky needed a little more convincing. She took Alex on their first date to yoga and a vegetarian restaurant to make sure this tall, dark and handsome man was also supportive and well rounded. On their second date, Alex took Becky on a motorcycle trip through Boulder Canyon. They genuinely enjoyed learning about each other’s interests and never wanted to stop spending time together. The challenges of Law School brought their relationship closer and they two never wanted to stop spending time and learning together. Their relationship is special because they have built such a strong, supportive foundation together. They now live in Denver, turned a house into a home, and share a mutual love for rescuing dogs. Serving their community is just as important to them as having fulfilling careers. Becky and Alex are supportive, sweet, and strong together! It was an honor to document this stage of life for them. Alex proposed on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2020, which is the same day as their dog Holly’s adoption anniversary! He surprised Becky by taking her to the Denver Animal Shelter and proposed in front of the shelter. They started the next chapter of their lives where they started their family by adopting Holly four years prior. Alex made the proposal thoughtful, simple, and intimate. Becky obviously said yes! Her ring is from Brilliant Earth with a marquise-shaped diamond and sapphire touches surrounded by a halo. The details of their wedding honor the Colorado mountains they call home, their four-legged family, and their family members and friends who traveled from different parts of the United States and Equator to celebrate their love. Brining their love for official documents and professions of being lawyers, the couple signed their marriage ceremony during their wedding ceremony and celebrated their love with a live band and dancing the night away at their reception.
