“This styled elopement Shoot was built around our beautiful couple Marisa & Rachel. I wanted this to feel like a real wedding day and to personalize it to the couple. We decided to have one boho bride and one chic styled bride, but when it came to the florals, I knew I wanted to bring in two florists so the flowers would be uniquely their own. We decided on mocktails & cake to start things out and then headed to our hiking part of the elopement. When we arrived at the meadow for the vow exchange we were surprised by hundreds of wild flowers and it was jaw dropping! Just like a real wedding day, as we were walking on the trail we had fellow hikers congratulate the brides, and even on lookers as Marisa and Rachel “exchanged vows” and had their first kiss. We finished off the day with a stunning sunset. It’s important to me to showcase equality and that all are welcome and the vision of having two brides in wedding dresses was exactly what I had in mind for this shoot. Love is love.”
