“When people think of Arizona, they usually picture the desert, cacti, mountains, and lots of sunshine. But there’s so much more, even less than an hour from Phoenix. I did this sailboat photoshoot to show that if you think outside the box, you can find unexpected beauty in the most unlikely places. Not only is it an amazing experience, but it also supports and connects you with a local business. I reached out to Jason from Sailboat Shop and met him at the harbor in Scorpion Bay at Lake Pleasant. I shared my idea with him, and we ended up talking about our backgrounds and what led us to where we are now. Experiences like this are great because not everyone has the chance to travel, and for a moment, it feels like you are somewhere on the coast.”
