“Aubrey and Travis’s love story is a tale of serendipity and a shared connection to their beloved state of Wyoming. They first crossed paths at a lively street dance at the University of Wyoming during the summer of ’18. At that moment, Aubrey had vowed to focus on her studies and not get involved in a relationship, but destiny had other plans. When she laid eyes on Travis, who walked in and out of a bar, she couldn’t help but exclaim to her friends, ‘Who is that? I am going to marry that man!’ Their encounter led to a fateful introduction, and the spark was ignited. Their first summer together was a whirlwind of adventure, riding through Wyoming on Travis’s motorcycle, embarking on weekend camping trips to the Tetons and the Rocky Mountains with Travis’s faithful companion, Charlie the chocolate lab. Two years later, they made the journey to San Antonio, Texas, and five years into their journey, Travis proposed in front of the home they had lovingly built together. His proposal was a testament to their shared life and dreams, and he declared that he wouldn’t want to spend his days any other way. Travis’s story is equally compelling, with a background that spans from his time as a Wyoming Cowboy to becoming an Army Ranger, followed by academic achievements, including earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering, an MBA, and a Masters in Engineering. Both Aubrey and Travis have deep Wyoming roots, with their families’ histories intertwined with the University of Wyoming, making it almost inevitable that they, too, would find love in the Cowboy State. When it came to choosing a wedding location, their hearts were set on the Wyoming region, and they discovered the picturesque Moose Creek Ranch nestled in the heart of the Teton Mountains. The ranch instantly captured their hearts with its stunning views and enchanting atmosphere. For Aubrey and Travis, Moose Creek Ranch became the place where they would plant the roots of their love, exchange their vows, and begin their married journey. It was a celebration of their shared love, their deep-seated connection to Wyoming, and a tribute to their family traditions. Long live cowgirls and cowboys—Aubrey and Travis’s love story is a testament to the beauty of love that blooms in the heart of the West, where the roots of their family trees intertwine, and where they chose to start their own love story.”
