“Rikki and Darrel chose to get married in the little historic town of Roseberry, Idaho. It consists of a small intersection with an old raised bandstand, a large red barn, the Roseberry store, the Valley County Museum and a handful of other historic buildings and artifacts. Set in Valley County, the pastoral views are incredible. We had done engagement photos prior so we already had a connection and I was eager to watch them tie the knot! The weather forecast called for an 80% chance of rain, though we only got a couple of sprinkles the whole day! The weather gods favored us kindly, and the day got progressively more beautiful. The details they included were exceptional and it was evident a lot of time and effort went into each aspect of their day. From the custom soles of her shoes to the cake topper, it was such fun to witness! Their ceremony took place on the grass facing the pasture of cows with the mountains in the background; pretty idyllic. Her 26-year old son walked her down the aisle and the emotions were high. They had their reception in the historic red barn with music and string lights, which really created a real magical feel. The earlier overcast gave way to the most spectacular sunset and of course, I was thrilled to get them out into the field for a few sweet moments together, sealed with a kiss.”
