“My husband Anthony and I met in December of 2020. We met via Instagram like true Millennials. Our paths could not have been more different yet somehow they crossed. Anthony is a Midwest kid from Kansas turned dog trainer, I am a Colorado Native who works in construction doing sales and a fitness instructor for CycleBar. Anthony suffered a house fire back in 2016 where he lost everything including his 2 beloved bird dogs. In 2016, I experienced the most challenging year of my life as well where I started my fitness journey of teaching to pull myself out of the darkness. In 2020 I met Anthony at his house trailer he was living in since the fire. I knew upon meeting him that he was the one. He proposed after just 8 months because he felt the same. We both found safety, home, and live within one another. Our wedding was on October 7th at Younger Ranch in Colorado Springs. The day was a chilly fall day and it was beautiful. Fall colors, longhorn cattle as witness, one of our pups as our ring bearer complete with a shot ski for our unity ceremony. We couldn’t have asked for a better day!”
