“Our story starts with one of our favorite things to do, camping in the desert. Memorial Day 2018, after both of us freshly migrated from the East coast and were eager to experience all the west had to offer, we got invited to a big camping trip in Moab, Utah and ended up in a carpool together. Thanks to a wild fire closing the highway, our first time meeting each other was jammed in a car on a drive that should have been 5 hours and ended up taking closer to 13. Even after this car ride successfully tested our patience right out the gate, the rest of the trip we could coincidentally be seen side-by-side getting to know each other and learning just how much our interests aligned. Fast forward about a month, our first official date was climbing a 14er and the adventures continued. Hiking, mountain biking, backpacking, camping, skiing – if there was an activity in the mountains, we were doing it together! Memorial Day 2020 marked an especially big milestone in our relationship with the purchase of our first home and within 2 hours of getting the keys, (Just as any sane couple who have never lived together before would do) we immediately started to rip the house apart and begin the process of a full-blown renovation. The projects have continued to evolve from there and so has Lara’s love for interior design and Josh’s love for buying new power tools. Memorial Day 2021 (are you seeing a theme yet?) marked the adoption day for our awesome pup Indy and shortly after the purchase of our vintage camper, which (you guessed it), we immediately ripped apart and renovated. And how can we forget the biggest milestone of all! Memorial Day 2022 Lara gave birth to our little ring bearer and we have loved sharing our adventures with him along side. Our adventures have evolved from packing a backpack to packing a diaper bag, but, it hasn’t stopped us from doing what we love and exploring the mountains.”
