Romantic Rainy Day Engagements in Victoria

April 19, 2025 BY: Amy

“Sonia and Remy were best friends first, then fell madly in love with each other. After 10 years, they’re engaged and so excited to get married. They want to enjoy their engagement fully and intentionally, thus slowly ironing out their wedding plans – they aren’t in any rush and are soaking in every moment of getting to call each other ‘fiancé’. They flew into Victoria, Vancouver Island for their engagement photos and were ready to take on whatever the west coast weather would give them. We started out in a gorgeous new restaurant Kinu and ordered drinks and appies. Once they were settled in, they explored around the restaurant for their photos, using the unique design and layout for their backdrop. We then ventured Downtown Victoria and embraced a real atmospheric river (yes, that is what the weatherman called it). Thankfully, I had a spare clear umbrella to lend them as they wandered through the streets and alleyways. Fall engagements in the west coast can call for a lot of rain (even record breaking rain) but nothing could wash away their smiles on this day.”
