“The proposal was at South Valley Regional Airport in West Jordan, Utah. Carter worked with Maddie of Pro Proposal Co. to plan his special proposal. Kailey didn’t know what type of date they were going on and was surprised when they pulled up to a regional airport for a helicopter ride. Maddie, myself and Alex, the videographer pretended to be a hired content creation team for Keith the pilot so Kailey wouldn’t get suspicious. We ‘interviewed’ him as the couple was getting settled in the helicopter, made a big deal of getting b-roll footage inside during the flight, and asked them to pose for the camera during the flight so we could add the footage to the content for the pilot. They did a helicopter ride over the city, downtown, and foothills (it was too stormy to fly into the canyons), and after we landed he proposed. Maddie, the planner, put out rose petals and brought them a red rose bouquet to mark the occasion. She was so surprised it was happening!”
