“Tucked away near the enchanting Sangre de Cristo Mountains, The Stakeout is a hidden gem that provides the perfect setting for any wedding. Its rustic meets modern chic vibes had us swooning and the white adobe walls were the perfect contrast against the beautiful Taos skies. Mikayla and Patrick are both avid outdoor runners and share a love for nature and hiking. Taos also holds a special place in their hearts so when they found The Stakeout, they knew it was the perfect venue to say ‘I do’. Their wedding ceremony was held outdoors with the most majestic, panoramic views. The duo exchanged their heartfelt vows under a clear blue sky, while surrounded by beautiful trees and the love of their family and friends. Our hearts were beaming with joy as we listened to their vows and Mikayla’s brother detail their love story. As their ceremony commenced, guests slowly made their way to the most gorgeous outdoor tent reception. Guests gathered under a canopy of twinkling lights, beneath a sailcloth tent where everyone dined and shared laughs while listening to heartfelt toasts. The tables were adorned with beautiful details, but our favorite detail were the handmade favors. One of Mikayla and Patrick’s loved one’s etched the most darling donkey design on their shot glass favors. The donkey could also be found on their invitation, a nod to the surprise to come later in the evening! As night fell, everyone made their way to The Stakeout patio to enjoy delicious cake from Maggie’s Cakes and music from Desert Disco Music. The Tequila Donkey made a special appearance, and guests were surprised with darling Conchita who greeted them with tequila shots.”
