Romance in Full Bloom at The St. Regis Deer Valley

February 3, 2025 BY: Amy

“Itching to get back on the slopes after a canceled trip in 2020, the pair jetted to Vancouver for a week in Whistler. After unpacking, Adam convinced his soon-to-be-bride that the Nicklaus North Golf Course down the road had the best fondue. Willing to do most things for melted cheese, Christina was immediately on board. Instead of walking straight to the clubhouse, Adam asked Christina to go on a walk around the course. The only problem? Christina had skipped a snack in anticipation of fondue. Without a snack, she wasn’t going anywhere. Adam, knowing Christina inside and out, had packed an emergency protein bar to avoid any hunger-related issues. One chocolate protein bar later, and the two were off to enjoy the property. After frantically texting the hidden photographer to ensure he’d reach the right spot, the couple stood at a snowy lakeshore. Christina fell for the classic ‘What’s over there?’. When she turned around, Adam was on one knee.”
